About Me

Man is least himself when he talks in his own person. Give him a mask, and he will tell you the truth.”

-Oscar Wilde

Since I started this blog in 2009, I’ve written hundreds of posts on numerous subjects…  grief, frustration, resentment, depression, anxiety, love, heartbreak, happiness and life in general. Anyone who has followed along since the beginning knows that I’m a fan of fresh starts, and so, my old posts have been wiped clean as I begin a new chapter of Quarter for her Thoughts.

Most of my writing as of late is about my journey to and through motherhood via domestic government adoption. In April of 2013 I began the process and in June of 2016 I met my daughter; she was 9 at the time.
